Yesterday it was raining lightly and a cool breeze made fallen leaves dance on the streets. Was that the first sign of autumn?

Tube platform art

The tube stations in London are not the most beautiful places. There are, though, nice details that many might miss when rushing from a train to another. Victoria line has many eye-catching platform motifs, including the above one in Tottenham Hale station. The motif is designed by Edward Bawden.

Oh dear!

I run into these ladies while walking about the town today. All from different eras, but definitely divas.

New neighbors

I can see many rows of boathouses from my balcony. They are literally my next door neighbors. I just wonder how people can fit their stuff in those floating homes. I like especially the boxy boat on the left - small but neat.

Moving in

I moved yesterday from temporary housing to my new flat. 60 boxes later my apartment starts to look like a home, but it still needs some fine tuning and storage space.
