V exciting! Vertical gardens have been quite a hit for some time. The most famous is probably the one on Quai Branly, in the Jean Nouvel building.

Have to check that one out! I guess Athenaeum's hanging garden has been there for a good while.

September 2009, 3 years after Branly opened, 10 years after Branly was conceived & 15 years after Patrick Blanc started making those living walls!
Fascinating! I remember seeing a vertical garden at Marithé et François Girbaud store in New York but didn't know it was Patrick Blanc behind that one too.
