ReplyDeleteYes, the standard of build (& maintenance !) is incredibly low in the UK. Especially in London, it is a wonder.

Thanks to the low quality build I experienced my coldest winter last winter in London - inside a building less than 10 years old! One would think that a Finn has got used to cold, but the houses are warm in Finland. The Britons must have a lot better resistance for cold than the Finns or other Scandinavians as they have used to leaking windows etc...
